Bandon library reading program registration open

Registration for Bandon Public Library’s Summer Reading Program began Tuesday, May 27. Space is limited, and registration is required. There is no fee to participate.
Camp Read-A-Lot, ages 5-6, will meet from 1:30 to 2:30 Wednesdays from June 18 to July 30; and 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. from June 19 through July 31.
Early Readers (second grade and older) can “Catch the Reading Bug” from June 19 through July 31. Both sections will meet on Thursdays, one from 1 to 2:30 p.m. and the other from 3:to 3:30 p.m.
Participants in both programs will track their reading progress and earn surprises along the way. Participants should register for one section only.
There also will be a toddler and pre-school drop-in story time from 11 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesdays from June 18 to July 30. No registration is required, and there is no fee. There will be no story time on July 9.
