Arnie Roblan, D-Coos Bay, will hold a town hall meeting from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at the Inland Point Senior Community Lifestyle Center, 2265 Inland Drive in North Bend, to highlight issues of interest to older Oregonians. The local Retired and Senior Volunteer Program specializes in connecting volunteers who are 55 years of age and older with community organizations that need volunteers. Volunteers are placed in every aspect of the community to share their skills, interests and life experience. Volunteers 55-plus have a lifetime of experiences to enrich their communities and help solve community problems. Many report that they have been able to get involved in something they have cared about their whole life, but just never got to help out.
