Two men arrested in NB assault cases

North Bend Police officers arrested a Coquille man Friday, following a report that a man had been hit by another.

According to the North Bend Police Department press log, at approximately 10:25 p.m., North Bend police received the call and responded to 3410 Spruce St., in North Bend.

There, they arrested Stephen D. Busch, 46, on a charge of fourth-degree assault.

He was transported to the Coos County jail where he remains on $7,500 bail.

* A North Bend man went to the Coos County jail on a charge of assault.

According to a North Bend Police Department press log, at approximately 9:07 p.m., North Bend officers received a report from a man stating his son hit his girlfriend. Officers responded to 2458 Oak St. They located Darien Lynn, 20, and arrested him on a charge of fourth-degree assault.

He was taken to the jail, where he remains on $7,500 bail.
