The following are theft and criminal mischief reports from area police department logs.

Coos Bay

* May 22, 2:12 a.m., menacing was reported in the 400 block of Student Way on the Southwestern Oregon Community College campus.

* May 22, 2:53 a.m., gun shots were reported in the 200 block South Cammann Street.

* May 22, 7:37 a.m., an assault was reported in the 200 block of North Broadway.

* May 22, 9:23 a.m., a shoplifter was reported at TruNorth, 310 S. Broadway.

* May 22, 9:57 a.m., identity theft was reported in the 1100 block of Anderson Avenue.

* May 22, 2:41 p.m., theft of services was reported in the 100 block of East Ingersoll Avenue.

* May 22, 2:50 p.m., a fight was reported at Motel 6, 1445 N. Bayshore Drive.

* May 22, 5:08 p.m., a hit-and-run accident was reported near the intersection of First Street and Johnson Avenue.

* May 22, 7:17 p.m., a theft was reported at Wal-Mart, 2051 Newmark Ave.

* May 22, 10:49 p.m., a theft was reported in the 1800 block of Thomas Street.

* May 23, 12:10 a.m., an assault was reported in the 200 block of North Broadway.

* May 23, 4:42 a.m., criminal mischief was reported at Marshfield High School, 1098 Ingersoll Ave.

North Bend

* May 22, 10:15 a.m., an illegal burn was reported in the 2200 block of Sheridan Avenue.

* May 22, 3:06 p.m., criminal trespassing was reported in the 1700 block of Virginia Avenue.

* May 22, 4:56 p.m., an illegal burn was reported in the 2000 block of Ohio Street.

* May  22, 5:58 p.m., a theft was reported in the 2200 block of Newmark Street.

Reedsport

* May 22, 6:42 a.m., harassment was reported in the 1100 block of Fir Avenue.

* May 22, 12:33 p.m., a burglary was reported in the 100 block of North Fourth Street.  

Coos County

* May 21, 6:43 a.m., a woman said her neighbors smeared human feces on her vehicle parked in the 91000 block of Cape Arago Highway.

* May 21, 7:53 a.m., child abuse was reported in the 91500 block of Cape Arago Highway.

* May 21, 1:17 p.m., harassment was reported in the 91700 block of Cameron Road.

* May 21, 1:40 p.m., rocks were thrown through the windows of a residence in the 92800 block of Cape Arago Highway.

* May 21, 4:32 p.m., a cutting torch was stolen from a shop in the 87700 block of Vine Lane.

* May 21, 4:40 p.m., criminal trespassing was reported in the 72300 block of Highway 101.

* May 21, 4:59 p.m., illegal fireworks were reported in the 63100 block of Crown Point Road.

* May 21, 5:03 p.m., criminal mischief was reported at a construction site in the 87100 block of Beach Loop Road.

* May 21, 7:19 p.m., a motorcycle was reported stolen in the 63400 block of Mobilane Road.
