Ayla Johnson of North Bend and Brian Collins of La Pine have announced their plans to marry on July 5, 2008, in Salem.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Mark and Alanna Johnson of North Bend. She is a 2002 graduate of North Bend High School and a 2006 graduate of Oregon State University. She is currently in the professional pharmacy program at Oregon State and will graduate in June 2009 with a doctorate of pharmacy.

The future groom is the son of Roy and Kathy Collins of La Pine. He is a 2002 graduate of La Pine High School. He received his masters in nuclear engineering from Oregon Stare University in 2007. He is currently employed at Pacific Northwest National Labs in Richland, Wash., as a nuclear engineer.

After their honeymoon in Puerto Vallarta, the couple plan on returning to their home in Pasco, Wash.
