The Florence Area Chamber of Commerce will host the 101st Rhododendron Festival May 16-18.
Bowl Down Hunger, a fundrasier for the South Coast Food Share, will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. at North Bend Lanes, 1225 Virginia Ave. Local businesses can sponsor a bowling team of three to six employees. Bowling teams are required, with one lane assigned for each team.
A Little Theatre on the Bay benefit show, for the building improvement fund, will be held 8 p.m. at LTOB, 2100 Sherman Ave., North Bend. For more information including tickets, those interested can call LTOB at 756-4336.
Myrtle Crest School will hold its annual carnival from 6 to 8:30 p.m.. The school is located at 717 Fourth St., Myrtle Point.

The Bay Area Seniors’ Computer Club will meet from 10 to 11 a.m. at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 1290 Thompson Road.

The South Coast Dance Association will feature a one-hour lesson in East Coast Swing at 7 p.m., followed by open dancing until 9:30, at Epiphany’s Ballroom, 1989 Sherman, Ave., North Bend. The cost is $3 for members and $6 for nonmembers. |
