Thursday happenings

Mini-programs, demonstrations and questions will be the subjects of the Southwestern Oregon Chapter of the American Rhododendron Society meeting on Thursday, May 15, in North Bend. Members and others interested in growing rhodies will gather at 7 p.m. in the auditorium at North Bend Housing Authority, 1700 Monroe Ave. Anyone interested in rhododendrons and their propagation is invited. A mini-auction will be held and refreshments will be served. For more information, those interested can call 347-2818 or 396-2718.
