PORTLAND (AP) — The Oregon State Police says the final three suspects in a wire-theft investigation have been taken into custody.
The nearly two-month investigation followed complaints from the state Department of Transportation of numerous wire thefts along Interstate 84, Interstate 205 and Interstate 5.
Investigators say the wires were cut and presumably sold.
Police announced the arrests of Nicholas Prazeau, 27, of Fairview; Meredith Meacham, 28, of Portland; and Christopher Miller, 30, of Portland.
Two other suspects were arrested in late February. |
