Vandals target school, businesses with graffiti

Coos Bay Police are investigating a string of graffiti reports from Thursday all the way from Empire to the U.S. Highway 101 corridor. According to a Coos Bay Police press release, starting at 6 a.m., 13 reports were received of some form of vandalism.
Businesses, street signs and school facilities were among the targets. They included: Sunset Middle School, 245 S. Cammann St.; Bay Area Hospital, 1775 Thompson Road; South Coast Hospice, 1620 Thompson Road; South Coast ESD building, 1350 Teakwood Ave.; Dr. Bacon’s dental office, 1250 Thompson Road; Tower Ford, 505 S. Broadway; Best Western Holiday Motel, 411 N. Bayshore Drive; McMahan’s Furniture & Appliances, 311 S. Broadway; The Auction House, 347 S. Broadway; and Harley-Davidson/Highway 101, 536 S. Second St.
