Rick Goche, who is running for state representative in the first district, plans to open a campaign office in Coquille next week. Goche is campaigning for the seat held by incumbent Rep. Wayne Krieger, R-Gold Beach.

The campaign office grand opening is scheduled from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 15, at 841 N. Central, Apt. 1, in Coquille, above Advanced Business Services.

People are invited to stop and talk with the Democrat about issues that concern them. Goche is a salmon and tuna fisherman, small business owner and has a small tree farm, a press release said. He has worked in the seafood business from research to retail for most of the last 40 years. He also has served on several state fisheries commissions.
