Alumni Notes: Holmstedt honored by Big Sky Conference

Compiled by Lucas Clark, Staff Intern Former North Bend High School standout Kellie Holmstedt earned second-team all Big Sky conference golf honors in her first year at Eastern Washington University. Holmstedt was one of five EWU golfers to be named to an all conference team. The Eagles placed third at the Big Sky Championships in late April, where Holmstedt shot a 227 (71-78-79) to finish in seventh place. Her score of 71 led the tournament on the first day of competition. Eastern Washington coach Marc Hughes was named Big Sky coach of the year.
