RSVP to honor volunteers

The Recognition Banquet for Retired & Senior Volunteer Program will be held on Tuesday at The Mill Casino-Hotel.
RSVP Volunteers touched people’s lives through their unselfish contribution in 2007 of more than 104,000 hours of volunteering all over Coos County at more than 100 different sites, according to a press release. They volunteered at local sites such as Bay Area Hospital, senior centers, assisted living centers, Meals on Wheels, museums, information centers, school districts, the SMART program, libraries and musical events.
