Baby Mama — Successful and single businesswoman Kate Holbrook (Tina Fey) has long put her career ahead of a personal life. Now 37, she’s finally determined to have a kid on her own. But her plan is thrown a curve ball after she discovers she has only a million-to-one chance of getting pregnant. Undaunted, the driven Kate allows South Philly working girl Angie Ostrowiski (Amy Poehler) to become her unlikely surrogate. Kate goes into precision nesting mode: reading childcare books, baby-proofing the apartment and researching top preschools. But the executive’s well-organized strategy is turned upside down when Angie shows up at her doorstep with no place to live. An unstoppable force meets an immovable object as structured Kate tries to turn vibrant Angie into the perfect expectant mom. (PG-13 for crude and sexual humor, language and a drug reference.) 88 Minutes — Dr. Jack Gramm (Al Pacino) is a college professor who moonlights as a forensic psychiatrist for the FBI. When Gramm receives a death threat claiming he has only 88 minutes to live, he and his agents (Alicia Witt, Leelee Sobieski, Benjamin McKenzie, Amy Brenneman) must use all their skills and training to narrow down the possible suspects, who include a disgruntled student, a jilted former lover, and a serial killer (Neal McDonough) who is already on death row, before his time runs out. (R for disturbing violent content, brief nudity and language.) Pony Village Cinemas.

The Forbidden Kingdom — While hunting down bootleg kung-fu DVDs in a Chinatown pawnshop, Jason (Michael Angarano) makes an extraordinary discovery that sends him hurtling back in time to ancient China. There, Jason is charged with a monumental task: He must free the fabled warrior the Monkey King (Jet Li), who has been imprisoned by the evil Jade Warlord (Collin Chou). Jason is joined in his quest by wise kung fu master Lu Yan (Jackie Chan) and a band of misfit warriors including Silent Monk (Li). But only by learning the true precepts of kung fu can Jason hope to succeed — and find a way to get back home. (PG-13 for sequences of martial arts action and some violence.) Forgetting Sarah Marshall — After a devastating breakup with his girlfriend, TV sitcom star Sarah Marshall (Kristen Bell), a heartbroken and depressed Peter (Jason Segel) heads to Hawaii for a little vacation to try his best to forget every detail of his relationship. But love laughs at Peter, because Sarah is vacationing in the same exclusive resort as Peter, along with her new boyfriend (Russell Brand). (R for sexual content, language and some graphic nudity.) Harold & Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay — The same morning that Harold (John Cho) and Kumar (Kal Penn) eat at White Castle, Harold learns that Maria (Paula Garces), the girl he lusts after, has set off for Amsterdam. The pair decide to pursue her so Harold can proclaim his love. However, an overzealous airline passenger mistakes Kumar for a terrorist, and the plane is diverted as the duo get stuck in a case of mistaken identity. (R for strong crude and sexual content, graphic nudity, pervasive language and drug use.) Pony Village Cinemas.

Iron Man — Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) is a billionaire industrialist and genius inventor who is kidnapped and forced to build a devastating weapon. Instead, using his intelligence and ingenuity, Tony builds a high-tech suit of armor and escapes captivity. When he uncovers a nefarious plot with global implications, he dons his powerful armor and vows to protect the world as Iron Man. Leatherheads — In 1925, Dodge Connolly (George Clooney) is a charming, brash football hero who is determined to guide his team from bar brawls to packed stadiums. But after the players lose their sponsor and the entire league faces certain collapse, Dodge persuades a college football star, Carter Rutherford (John Krasinski), to join his ragtag ranks. This new champ is almost too good to be true, and cub journalist Lexie Littleton (Renee Zellweger) suspects there are holes in Carter’s war story. (PG-13 for brief strong language.) Florence Cinemas, Pony Village Cinemas, Savoy Theatre.

Made of Honor — Tom Bailey (Patrick Dempsey) is in love with his best friend Hannah (Michelle Monaghan). But Tom has a fear of commitment and refuses to admit the obvious — he should propose to Claire before she finds a less procrastinating suitor. When Colin (Kevin McKidd), a rich Scotsman sweeps Hannah off her feet and asks for her hand in marriage, Tom must witness her unquestioned happiness up close and personal — because she’s chosen him to be her maid of honor. (PG-13 for sexual content and language.) Pony Village Cinemas.

Nim’s Island — Anything can happen on Nim’s Island, a magical place ruled by the imagination of a young girl (Abigail Breslin). It is an existence that mirrors that of her favorite literary character, Alex Rover (Gerard Butler) — the world’s greatest adventurer. But Alexandra (Jodie Foster), the author of the Rover books, leads a reclusive life in the big city. When Nim’s father (Alphonso McAuley) goes missing from their island, a twist of fate brings her together with Alexandra. Now they must draw courage from their fictional hero, Alex Rover, and find strength in one another to conquer Nim’s Island. (PG for mild adventure action and brief language.) Pony Village Cinemas.

Smart People — Professor Lawrence Wetherhold (Dennis Quaid) might be imperiously brilliant, monumentally self-possessed and an intellectual giant — but when it comes to solving the conundrums of love and family, he’s as downright flummoxed as the next guy. His collegiate son (Ashton Holmes) won’t confide in him, his teenage daughter (Ellen Page) is an acid-tongued overachiever who follows all too closely in dad’s misery-loving footsteps, and his adopted, preposterously ne’er-do-well brother (Thomas Haden Church) has perfected the art of freeloading. A widower who can’t seem to find passion in anything anymore, Lawrence seems to be sleepwalking through a very stunted middle age. When his brother shows up unexpectedly for an extended stay at just about the same time as he accidentally encounters former student Janet (Sarah Jessica Parker), the circumstances cause him to stir from his deep, deep freeze, with consequences for himself and everyone around him. (R for language, brief teen drug and alcohol use and for some sexuality.) Florence Cinemas, Pony Village Cinemas.

21 — Ben Campbell (Jim Sturgess) is a shy, brilliant M.I.T. student who is recruited to join a group of students that heads to Vegas every weekend armed with fake identities and the know-how to turn the odds at blackjack in their favor. Unorthodox math professor and stats genius Micky Rosa (Kevin Spacey) leads the students in counting cards and employing an intricate system of signals. Seduced by the money, the Vegas lifestyle, and by his smart and sexy teammate, Jill Taylor (Kate Bosworth), Ben begins to push the limits.
