OCCI chefs square off Iron-Chef style

The cooking talents of Oregon Coast Culinary Institute’s top two chefs will be on display at the “Iron Chef Bay Area” challenge on Saturday at Faith Lutheran Church in North Bend.
The event is hosted by the Bay Area Sunrise Club and the Women of Faith Lutheran Church. The challenge is from 3 to 7 p.m., and tickets for the event are $25. The proceeds are a benefit for Outbound Rotary Exhcange student, Samantha Guernsey.
The chefs will have two hours to complete five dishes. The hosts will provide desserts, coffee, punch and non-alcoholic wine.
Music during the event will be provided by David Abernathy.
