Internet-based job search resource opens

Jobs.Net LLC opened for business on April 16 as part of the Southwestern Oregon Community College Job Expo.

Jobs.Net is inviting the public to a Bay Area Chamber of Commerce grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony May 9. Employers and job seekers can come by and enjoy free refreshments. Festivities start at 4 p.m., with the ribbon cutting at 4:30 p.m.
According to a press release,

Jobs.Net was created to be a faster, more efficient and inexpensive way for employers to notify potential job seekers in the region of the openings they have. The owners felt that both the job seekers, and the employers needed something more, something tailored to their needs, something that can grow with them. Thus Coos
Jobs was born, as was their mission statement: “Lighting the path between job seekers and employers.”
