Registration deadline is Wednesday for T-ball, coach-pitch programs

The registration deadline is Wednesday for the Boys & Girls Club of Southwestern Oregon’s T-ball, coach-pitch baseball, coach-pitch softball and regular softball programs.

All boys and girls currently in kindergarten are eligible for T-ball. Boys in first and second grades are eligible for coach-pitch baseball. First- and second-grade girls are eligible for coach pitch softball. All girls in third through eighth grades are eligible for softball.

Games will start May 12, and end on June 13.

Hershey meet is Sunday

The local Hershey Track & Field Meet is scheduled for Sunday, April 27, at Marshfield High School.

Registration begins at noon and the first events start at 1 p.m.

All boys and girls ages 9 to 14 as of Dec. 31 are eligible to participate in this free event, hosted by the Boys & Girls Club of Southwestern Oregon. Club membership is not required.

Participants may enter either two track and one field event or two field and one track event. Events vary based on age.

A birth certificate must be provided at the time of registration.
