Coquille Martial Arts opens two facilities

Coquille Martial Arts has opened a new facility in Bandon and moved down the street to a new home in Coquille.
The main headquarters for the school has become the former Western Auto building at 44 W. First St. in Coquille.
“This will allow the school to expand its programs for both children and adults,” said owner Karen Saxton. “We have plans to add classes in yoga and women’s chi gunt, as well as other arts, as we find instructors qualified to teach.”
The school plans an open house at the new site in the future.
Meanwhile, Coquille Martial Arts opened its new Bandon location, at the Bandon Shopping Center, last weekend. The site, on the back side of the building from U.S. Highway 101, will host classses in a variety of martial arts.
