Instead of letting these kids out of jail to go do their thievery again. Lets get real here and have a program where they have to clean the parks, streets, public bathrooms, community work of all kinds. Idle hands make for very develish ways.

I see and read about the young just being lazy and stealing as they get no punishment . It is about time we got tough with these hooligans.

Karen M. I am not necessarily pointing fingers and insinuating anything, but I believe that a lot of it has to do with discipline. or the lack of it! The Government has made every attempt to take the rights of parents away to do anything that involves discipline. I do not spare the rod with my children at all. I have a continuem that I follow and it includes corporal punishment. If the system wants to place me in Lock up for it, then they should Go for it! I double dare them! Until they pay my bills and mortgage for me, and provide my livelyhood, they can all take a hike!!! I rule my home! As far as I am concerned all Households have their own soveriegnty. The system should only be getting involved when the parents fail to do their job.

(karen m), i am not sure, but i think about how poor of business lloyds is getting, i think they should turn it in to an under 21 club for the kids. i know when i was younger, they had those for us, and they kept us out of trouble... everything is all the same, bands, pool, etc, minus the alcohol, i think it would do bandon justice.
