Bandon

Two Bandon men were arrested Thursday on theft charges stemming from two car break-ins in March. According to the Bandon Police log, at about 5:42 p.m., an officer contacted two men near the intersection of Second Street and Chicago Avenue. They were identified as suspects from two car break-ins reported on March 10, involving the theft of a portable mattress and Martin guitar. Officers arrested Caleb N. Baker, 20; and Zachary Warner, 18, on charges of first-degree theft and unlawful entry into a motor vehicle. They were taken to Coos County jail, where they were booked and released on their own recognizance.

North Bend

A Lakeside man was arrested Friday in North Bend on a drug-related charge. According to the North Bend Police log, at about 3 p.m., officers responded to a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot at U.S. Bank, 1285 Virginia Ave. They arrested Aaron R. Nash, 33, on a charge of possession of methamphetamine and a probation violation. He was taken to Coos County jail, where he is being held without bail.

A North Bend man was arrested Sunday in North Bend on an assault charge. According to the North Bend Police log, at about 11:32 a.m., a woman came into the police station to seek assistance. Officers responded to her residence, 1679 Monroe Ave., and arrested Ronald Nelson, 42, on a felony charge of fourth-degree domestic assault. He was taken to Coos County jail, where he is being held on a $25,000 bond.
