Arrests in the region

Bandon Two Bandon men were arrested Thursday on theft charges stemming from two car break-ins in March. According to the Bandon Police log, at about 5:42 p.m., an officer contacted two men near the intersection of Second Street and Chicago Avenue. They were identified as suspects from two car break-ins reported on March 10, involving the theft of a portable mattress and Martin guitar. Officers arrested Caleb N. Baker, 20; and Zachary Warner, 18, on charges of first-degree theft and unlawful entry into a motor vehicle. They were taken to Coos County jail, where they were booked and released on their own recognizance.
