Meet this week’s dog and cat available for adoption at the Coos County Animal Shelter in The World’s feature, “Pets of the Week.”
A reference number is provided with the photo for each pet. This week’s pets are:
* Sam is a 9-month-old male Border Collie/ Australian Kelpie mix. Shelter staff say he is very friendly. Sam is unnuetered, so he will go home with a certificate for a free or discounted procedure. His reference number is D08-086.
* Whispers is a male domestic long-haired tabby. He is a love bug, about 8 months old. Whispers is unnuetered, so he will go home with a certificate for a free or discounted procedure. His reference number is C-135.
The Coos County Animal Shelter is located at 600 Southport Road in Coos Bay. Shelter hours are from noon to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays.
