Will Obama come?

Saturday, April 26, 2008 |
Sen. Barack Obama is scheduled to pay another visit to Oregon in May, though whether he comes to the coast is another question.
Obama’s Oregon communications director, Nick Shapiro, said dates and locations for the Illinois Democrat visit have yet to be finalized.
He said 12 campaign offices have opened across the state and another will open in North Bend “within a few days.”
He suggested Clinton’s visit to North Bend does not necessarily mean Hillary is the best option for Oregon.
“I think you are seeing two very different campaign styles,” he said. “Bill and Chelsea come and stay for one or two days and then they leave. Our campaign is fully invested across the state.”
