Nylander named to Charleston committee

Wednesday, April 23, 2008 |
North Bend attorney Nick Nylander has been appointed to the Charleston Advisory Committee.
The committee is under the Oregon International Port of Coos Bay and advises port staff and commissioners on Charleston issues. Nylander will serve the remainder of the term, until February 2010, of Robert Laird, who died earlier this year. The position is a three-year-term representing sports fishermen.
Nylander, a Coos Bay resident, is an avid sports fisherman and was Laird’s fishing partner and friend, according to port records. Nylander volunteered for the post.
