SALEM (AP) — Chelsea Clinton will make three appearances in Oregon on Saturday to campaign for her mother, Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton, in advance of the state’s May 20 presidential primary election.
The Clinton campaign said the former first daughter will attend the Oregon Democratic Party’s annual platform convention in Eugene Saturday afternoon. Later in the day she will make public appearances at Oregon State University and Portland State University.
She will be the third member of the Clinton family to campaign in the Oregon contest against Barack Obama. The New York senator made stops in Hillsboro and Eugene last weekend. Former President Bill Clinton was in the state earlier.
