PORTLAND (AP) — Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton will be in Oregon for two appearances this weekend.

The U.S. senator from New York will host a town hall at Liberty High School in Hillsboro on Saturday morning. Doors open at 8 and the event begins at 9:30 a.m.

She then heads to Eugene for a similar event at South Eugene High School. Doors open at 11:30 a.m., and the event begins at 1:30 p.m.

Her rival for the Democratic nomination, Illinois Sen. Barack Obama, visited Oregon a few weeks ago, drawing about 12,000 people to a rally in Portland and another 9,000 to a Eugene appearance.

For VH, are you actually okay with some of the tactics Hillary's displayed during this campaign? I'm talking about all the rule-changing regarding delegates, and minimalization of all the "small" states that she didn't win... That, and the thing about her trying to basically say John McCain is a more qualified candidate than her own fellow Democrat.

I'm just honestly curious to hear from one of her supporters how that jives with you.

It scares me to think there's an attitude out there about if Hillary can't be the Dem nominee then nobody else can sort of thing. That alone would push me to the Obama side if I weren't there already. What are your thoughts on that kind of approach being undertaken by someone vying for the highest office?

Oh shame on me, I misspelled "embarrassed". The sniper fire is just a sample of Hillary's tendancy to lie. Try looking up Filegate, Travelgate, Whitewater scandal, Cattlegate, and Castle Grande just to name a few scams Hillary has been involved with. Then go to www.clintonmemoriallibrary.com and you can spend hours there looking through the history of the Clinton family corruption. And feel free to correct my grammar, I have far more important things to do than worry about misspelling words.

If the "sniper fire" comment is the best people have to whine about then I think Hillary probably hasn't done much to speak negatively of. She's getting my vote for being intelligent & informed.
Also, I'd be more "embarressed" if I couldn't spell the word embarrassed.

Let's also make sure she doesn't have to dodge "sniper fire"

Rick James wrote on Apr 4, 2008 12:53 PM:

Keep the venues small so Hillary isn't embarressed when she can't fill half as many seats as Obama.
