Moderate quake hits northeast Nevada town

RENO, Nev. (AP) — A moderate earthquake has rattled a northeast Nevada town that was struck by a strong temblor in February.
The 4.8 magnitude happened at 6:16 a.m. and was centered about nine miles northeast of Wells.
There are no immediate reports of injuries or damage.
Located about 60 miles west of the Nevada-Utah line on Interstate 80, Wells was hit by a 6.0 magnitude earthquake on Feb. 21.
There were no injuries, but hundreds of homes were damaged, and much of the town’s historical district suffered severe damage. |
