 The 38th-annual Original Yachats Arts & Crafts Fair is set for this weekend. The hours are 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Sunday.

The fair is held inside the Yachats Commons building at U.S. Highway 101 and W.  Fifth Street. Admission is free.

This juried coastal village fair features 75 Pacific Northwest artists selected for the high quality of their art or craft.

They bring treasures in sculpture, stained glass, Native American carvings, pottery, paintings and prints, jewelry, woodwork, textiles, fused art glass and etched glass, photography, ceramic tiles, toys, artisan chocolates, spice blends, and even dried and sculpted kelp.

There is something here for every age, pocketbook and preference, a press release said.

Raffle tickets will be available at the entrance to the fair for a stained glass lamp by Ashland artist Marc Taylor.

Raffle tickets are $2 each or 6 for $10. The retail value of the lamp is $2,200.

In the days prior to the fair, the lamp raffle tickets will be on sale at Toad Hall on West Third St., (541) 547-4044, and at the Yachats Visitors Center at U.S. Highway 101 and West Third St., (541) 547-3530.

The raffle drawing will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 30, at the Yachats Commons.

Chair massage, food and refreshments also will be available at the fair.

Ticket holders need not be present to win.
