A senior dance to the music of Gene Valerio, Frosty West, Bob Richardson, Dean Conyers and Clell Laird will begin at 1 p.m. at Evergreen Court, 451 O’Connell St., in North Bend. Video Voyages will feature the video “South America by Train,” at 2 p.m. at the North Bend Public Library, 1800 Sherman Ave. The video will take viewers to the Andes mountains in Ecuador and the ancient ruins of Machu Picchu in Peru, as well as into Brazil, Chile and Argentina. Free counseling for combat veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder will be held from 4:30 to 6 p.m., and a specialized group for World War II and Korean Conflict veterans will be held at 2 p.m. For more information, those interested can call the Eugene Vet Center’s Coos County contracted counselor, Susan Aviotti, LPC, at 756-7748.

Bingo will be played at the North Bend Masonic Lodge, 2002 Union Ave., on the corner of Virginia Ave. The game is open to the public. Doors will open at 6 p.m., and gaming will begin at 6:45 and go until around 9. By law, no one under 21 can attend. There is ample off-street parking. Refreshments will be available for purchase.

A post traumatic stress disorder support group, sponsored by Southwestern Oregon Veterans Outreach, will meet at 6:30 p.m. at the SOVO office, suite 208 in the Pony Village Mall, 1611 Virginia Ave., North Bend. The group will be facilitated by Mark Winders, a Vietnam War U.S. Marine Corps veteran. It is a peer-to-peer group. One-on-one meetings also are available. A diabetes question-and-answer session will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Bay Area Hospital, 1775 Thompson Road, Coos Bay. Participants should check with the front desk on the first floor of the hospital for exact locations.

The Society for Creative Anachronism, Tymberhavene, will hold a meeting at 6:30 p.m.  at the fire hall in Gold Beach, 29592 Ellensburg Ave. Topics of the meeting will include the second An Tir/West Event at Euchre Creek Road, south of Port Orford  July 3-6.
