Wet weather for sure today and Tuesday

The spring break forecast is predicting cool, wet weather for the South Coast. National Weather Service forecasters say there’s even a chance of snow in the Coast Range. Here’s the extended forecast and 24-hour high and low temps.

Florence: 48, 42

North Bend/Coos Bay: 52, 43

Gold Beach: n/a

Brookings: 50, 38

South Oregon Coast

Includes the cities of Reedsport, Lakeside, North Bend, Coos Bay, Coquille, Myrtle Point, Powers and Bandon.

Today: Mostly cloudy. Scattered rain showers in the morning, then isolated rain showers in the afternoon. Highs in the lower to mid 50s. Southwest winds around 5 mph shifting to the west 10 to 15 mph in the afternoon. Chance of showers 30 percent.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy with isolated rain showers. Lows in the mid 30s to lower 40s. West winds 10 to 15 mph decreasing to around 5 mph late in the evening, then shifting to the southeast after midnight.

Tuesday: Cloudy. Chance of rain in the morning, then rain in the afternoon. Highs in the mid 40s to lower 50s. Windy. South winds 5 to 10 mph increasing to southwest 20 to 30 mph. Chance of rain 80 percent.

Tuesday night: Rain. Lows around 40. Windy. Southwest winds 20 to 30 mph decreasing to 10 to 15 mph after midnight. Chance of rain near 100 percent.

Wednesday: Rain and snow showers. Snow level 2000 feet. Highs in the mid 40s. Breezy. West winds 15 to 25 mph. Chance of precipitation near 100 percent.

Wednesday night: Rain and snow showers likely. Lows in the lower to mid 30s.

Thursday: Rain showers likely. Highs in the mid 40s to lower

50s.

Thursday night: Cloudy with a chance of rain showers. Lows in the mid 30s to lower 40s.

Friday: Cloudy with a chance of rain. Highs around 50.

Friday night: Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain showers. Lows around 40.

Saturday: Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain showers. Highs in the lower to mid 50s.

Saturday night: Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain. Lows in the mid 30s to lower 40s.

Sunday: Cloudy with a chance of rain showers. Highs in the mid 50s.

Curry County Coast

Includes the cities of Port Orford, Gold Beach and Brookings.

Today: Mostly cloudy. Scattered rain showers in the morning, then isolated rain showers in the afternoon. Highs in the mid 40s to mid 50s. North winds 5 to 10 mph shifting to the west in the afternoon. Chance of showers 30 percent.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy. Lows around 40. Northwest winds 5 to 10 mph shifting to the east early in the morning.

Tuesday: Cloudy. Chance of rain in the morning, then rain in the afternoon. Highs in the mid 40s to mid 50s. Windy. Southeast winds 10 to 15 mph increasing to south 20 to 30 mph in the afternoon. Chance of rain 80 percent.

Tuesday night: Rain. Snow level 3000 feet. Lows in the mid 30s to lower 40s. Windy. Southwest winds 20 to 30 mph decreasing to 15 to 20 mph after midnight. Chance of rain near 100 percent.
