On Broadway Thespians play opens March 28
Friday, March 14, 2008 12:17 PM PDT
The play “The Magician’s Nephew” opens March 28, at Gussie’s Restaurant, 1088 Newmark Ave., Empire. It will play Fridays and Saturdays at 7 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. through April 13.
Admission is $10 for adults on Fridays and Saturdays and $8 on Sundays, and $7 for children 12 and under for all shows.
Even though “The Magician’s Nephew” was the sixth of C.S. Lewis’ “The Chronicles of Narnia,” chronologically it is the first. It is the story of young Digory and his friend Polly who, with the help of three magical rings, set out on a series of adventures through mythical kingdoms and enchanted lands.
Previously in 2006, “The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe” was staged at the former On Broadway Theater. For more information, those interested can e-mail obthespian@yahoo.com or visit http://www.onbroadwaytheater.com. |
