On Broadway Theater and Little Theater on the Bay have auditions scheduled this week. Here are the details.
This week'King Arthur’ auditionsOn Broadway Theater will hold auditions for women ages 16 and older for the play “King Arthur.” Auditions will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today and Tuesday at the Pony Village Mall, 1611 Virginia Ave., North Bend.
Auditions for men ages 12 and older for the play “King Arthur” will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday and Friday at the mall.
Acting experience is helpful but not necessary. Director Michael Gonzalez is seeking enthusiastic people who look and feel comfortable on stage, who listen well and follow directions easily and are willing to try new and different roles. Participants should dress comfortably but appropriately, be punctual and come prepared to present a contemporary, dramatic monologue from memory, about 1 to 2 minutes in length.
Photo headshots accompanied by a resume are preferred. If one is not readily available, then an regular On Broadway Theater audition form and a photograph, to be taken during the audition process, will suffice. Audition forms are available at

Wednesday Little Ole Opry dancersAuditions for Little Ole Opry Dancers will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 19, on the stage at Little Theatre on the Bay, 2100 Sherman Ave., North Bend. Those who participate in the workshop will learn the audition dance. Depending on age and skill level, dancers will be chosen the night of auditions.
The Little Ole Opry Dancers are a main part of the popular summer show which will run all weekends in July and the first weekend in August at the theater. Opry director Josie Reid has chosen the themes for the season, including:
• July 5, Country Western Classics;
• July 12, 1950’s and rock and roll;
• July 19, Hot New Country;
• July 26, Traditional Country; and
• Aug. 2-3, Best of Opry 2008.
