Easter egg hunt on schedule in Reedsport

The Gardiner-Reedsport Lions Club in conjunction with the Winchester Bay Merchants Association will sponsor the annual Easter Egg Hunt at 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 23, at Jim Barrone Park.
The hunt will be divided into groups by age. The Easter Bunny will be there with prizes and candy and ready to meet new friends. Activities start at 12:30 p.m., including relay races: The “Bunny Hop” race, the three-legged race and an egg-on-spoon race.
Participants also can bring any old eyeglasses, even old sunglasses, for the Lions Club to recycle for use in other countries.
