This lively band, with its trademark toe-tappin’, foot-stompin’ Irish tunes and songs, consists of eight musicians who play banjo, hammer dulcimer, mandolin, flute, pennywhistle, concertina, bass, guitar and percussion, a press release said.
Friday
First, Kith & Kin will perform at 7 p.m. on Friday at Rogers Zoo, 2037 Sherman Ave., in North Bend. There will be no cover charge.

Saturday
Kith and Kin also will perform at The South Coast Folk Society’s barn dance at 7 p.m. on Saturday at the Greenacres Grange Hall, 93393 Greenacres Lane, south of Coos Bay.
Dancers of all ages and abilities are welcome. Guest caller will be Mary Devlin. The event is open to singles, couples and families.
Admission is $5; students and seniors pay $4; and children under 6 will get in for free. Doors will open at 6:45 p.m., and light refreshments will be available. This is an alcohol-, tobacco- and fragrance-free event.
