A new storm is headed for the South Coast, but forecasters say there’s still time to enjoy a day with sun. Here’s the forecast through the weekend.

South Central Oregon Coast

Includes the cities of Reedsport, Lakeside, North Bend, Coos Bay, Coquille, Myrtle Point, Powers and Bandon.

Today: Mostly cloudy. Patchy fog in the morning. Highs in the lower 50s to lower 60s. Southwest winds 5 to 10 mph shifting to the west in the afternoon.

Tonight: Partly cloudy. Patchy fog after midnight. Lows around 40. Northwest winds around 5 mph shifting to the south in the late evening and overnight.

Friday: Mostly cloudy. Patchy fog in the morning. A 50 percent chance of rain in the afternoon. Highs in the lower 50s to lower 60s. Breezy. South winds 15 to 25 mph.

Friday night: Rain in the evening, then slight chance of rain showers after midnight. Lows in the lower to mid 40s. Southwest winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts to around 30 mph shifting to the northwest in the late evening and overnight. Chance of precipitation near 100 percent.

Saturday: Mostly cloudy. Highs in the mid 50s to lower 60s. North winds 5 to 10 mph shifting to the east early in the afternoon, then shifting to the south late in the afternoon.

Saturday night: Mostly cloudy. Lows in the mid 40s.

Sunday: Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain. Highs in the mid 50s to lower 60s.

Sunday night and Monday: Rain likely. Lows in the mid 40s. Highs in the mid 50s to lower 60s.

Monday night and Tuesday: Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain showers. Lows in the lower to mid 40s. Highs in the lower to mid 50s.

Tuesday night: Cloudy with a chance of rain showers. Lows around 40.

Wednesday: Cloudy with a chance of rain. Highs in the mid 50s.

Curry County coast

Includes the cities of Gold Beach, Port Orford and Brookings.

Today: Mostly cloudy. Patchy fog in the morning. Highs in the lower to mid 50s. South winds around 5 mph shifting to the west in the afternoon.

Tonight: Partly cloudy. Patchy fog after midnight. Lows around 40. Northwest winds 5 to 10 mph shifting to the northeast late in the evening, then shifting to the southeast after midnight.

Friday: Mostly cloudy. Patchy fog in the morning. A 40 percent chance of rain in the afternoon. Highs in the lower to mid 50s. Breezy. South winds 10 to 15 mph increasing to 15 to 25 mph in the afternoon.

Friday night: Rain in the evening, then chance of rain showers after midnight. Lows in the lower to mid 40s. West winds 10 to 15 mph shifting to the northwest after midnight. Chance of precipitation near 100 percent.

Saturday: Mostly cloudy. Slight chance of rain showers in the morning. Highs in the mid 50s to lower 60s. North winds 10 to 15 mph shifting to the southeast 5 to 10 mph late in the afternoon.

Saturday night: Mostly cloudy. Lows in the mid 40s.

Sunday: Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain. Highs in the mid-50s to lower 60s.

Sunday night: Rain likely. Breezy. Lows in the mid 40s to lower 50s.

Monday: Rain likely. Highs in the mid 50s.

Monday night: Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain showers. Lows in the lower to mid 40s.

Tuesday: Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain showers. Highs in the lower to mid 50s.

Tuesday night: Cloudy with a chance of rain showers. Lows around 40.

Wednesday: Cloudy with a chance of rain. Highs in the mid 50s.
