The following are events and meetings scheduled in Coos County on Tuesday.

TOPS OR No. 300 will meet at 9 a.m. at the First Christian Church, 2420 Sherman Ave., in North Bend. Weigh-in will begin at 8 a.m. and the meeting starts at 9:30 a.m. TOPS is a nonprofit organization that helps individuals control weight through education, awareness and support. Blood pressure tests will be offered from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the North Bend Senior Center, 1470 Airport Lane. For more information, those interested can call 756-7622.



Bridge players
will gather at 12:30 p.m. at the North Bend Senior Center, 1470 Airport Lane. For more information, those interested can call 756-7622.



The Acktion Club
will meet from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. at Bay Area Christian Fellowship, 175 S. Third St., Coos Bay. It is a community service organization, comprising developmentally disabled adults, sponsored by the Bay Area Kiwanis Club. Prospective members and volunteers can attend meetings and participate in the club’s community service and fundraising projects. The Southern Oregon Dahlia Society
will meet at 6 p.m. in the Cedar Room of the Coos Bay Public Library, 525 W. Anderson Ave. For more information, those interested can call 759-4309.

TOPS No. 114, North Bend, will meet at 6 p.m. at the Church of Christ, just off Broadway on Alder Ridge Road. TOPS is a nonprofit organization dedicated to losing weight sensibly. For more information, those interested can call 267-2965 or 266-0547.

Everyone At the Table will provide low-income families with dinners from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. The Bandon First Presbyterian Church, 592 Edison Ave., will be the site while the Barn is being remodeled. Tuesday Bingo at Coos Bay Eagles No. 538  will begin at 6:30 p.m. The lodge is located at 568 S. Second St., Coos Bay. For more information, those interested can call 267-6613.

The Coquille Valley Elks  will meet at 7 p.m. at the lodge, 54942 Maple Heights Road, in Coquille. Dinner is served from 5 to 7 p.m.

Point Man Ministries, an outreach group for local veterans, active-duty personnel and families since 1988, will meet at 7 p.m. at Sobers, 181 Anderson Ave., in Coos Bay. For more information, those interested can call Mike Harris at 267-4755 or e-mail mekong152@charter.net.



The Oregon Hunters Association
meets at 7 p.m., preceded by a no-host dinner at 6 p.m., at the Sawmill Event Center, at the Autumn House restaurant in North Bend. For more information, those interested can call 267-0247 or 267-2577.



Sea Breeze Chorus
will hold rehearsals at 6:30 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church, 123 Ocean Blvd., in Coos Bay. Women of all ages who enjoy singing are invited to attend the rehearsals to learn about the barbershop style of four-part harmony. For more information, those interested can call Elaine at 759-2339.

The Coquille Valley Seniors’ Computer Club meets at 7 p.m. at the Coquille Senior Center. Membership is open to all who are at least 50 years old. Visitors are welcome. For more information, those interested can visit the meetings or call Bob Kimball at 396-4971.
