Young entertainers star on the stage in Bandon

The “I Wanna Be a Star!” Variety Show, featuring more than 25 Bandon youth entertainers, will be presented at 7 p.m. on Saturday on the Sprague Community Theater stage, 1204 11th St. S.W., in City Park.
In its fourth year with New Artists Productions, the variety show permits youth ages 6 to 18 to perform in a self-defined environment.
Performances will include hit songs such as “Pop” by ’N Sync, “Bop to the Top” from “High School Musical,” and “Memory” from “Cats.” A snack bar will be available before the show and at intermission, with proceeds benefiting the New Artists Productions program.
Tickets cost $5 for adults and $3 for students, and are available at Bandon True Value Hardware, Chetco Federal Credit Union, at the door or by calling the Almichs at 347-2517.
