Bandon youth to perform Disney songs, teen pop, more in variety show

The “I Wanna Be a Star!” Variety Show, featuring more than 25 Bandon youth entertainers, will be presented at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, at the Sprague Community Theater.
New Artists Productions’ fourth-annual variety show permits youth to perform in a self-defined environment, according to organizers Dan and Anita Almich.
Performers will sing, dance or lip sync to a variety of popular songs and show tunes, mainly from Disney movies.
Acts include songs by Kelly Clarkson, Relient K, Miley Cyrus, Hillary Duff, Maroon 5, ’N Sync, Lee Ann Rimes and the Charlie Daniels Band; songs from “High School Musical,” “High School Musical 2,” “Mulan,” “Aladdin,” “The Wizard of Oz” and “Cats”; and many others.
Performers include Dakota Bouher; Jordan and Hayley Chandler; Destyni and Tessa Fuller; Aria Giovanetti; Melanie Hanby; Russell, Hope, Zeta and Josiah Hay; Chelsea and Robin Hill; Cody Hiser, Austin Crabtree and Isaac Wagner; Mercedese Mannon; Autumn Moss-Strong; Liza-May and Sarah Skeie; David and Natalie Vincent; and Jeneveve Winchell.
Tickets are $5 and $3 for students.
