SCAT was represented by 37 swimmers in the meet, while 35 swimmers from Gold Coast Swim Team and 12 from the Reedsport Aqua Braves also participated.

SCAT siblings Nathan and Alyssa Monohon each qualified for state in two events. Nathan, 7, advanced in both the 50-yard backstroke and 50-yard breaststroke, while Alyssa, 9, qualified in the 50- and 100-yard butterfly events.

Also for SCAT, Matthew Perry, 8, qualified in the 50 backstroke, while Justin Pallo, 10, met the qualifying mark in the 100 backstroke.

Gold Coast’s Garrett Swafford, a 14-year-old Marshfield freshman, advanced in the 50-, 100-, 200- and 500-yard freestyle races.
