Cold weather, rain to hang around all weekend

The National Weather Service says it's going to rain and rain before the weather gets better. That's likely to be the norm at least through Wednesday next week. The following is the extended forecast.
South Coast, Coos County outlook: for the cities of Reedsport, North Bend/Coos Bay, Coquille, Myrtle Point and Bandon.
A high surf advisory remains effect through this afternoon.
• Today: Widespread rain and snow showers. Snow level 1,500 feet rising to 2,000 feet in the afternoon. Snow accumulation up to 1 inch. Highs in the lower to mid 40s. Southwest winds 10 to 20 mph. Chance of precipitation 90 percent.
• Tonight: Rain and snow showers likely in the evening, then rain and snow after midnight. Snow level 2,000 feet. Lows in the mid 30s to lower 40s. Breezy. Southwest winds 10 to 15 mph shifting to the south 15 to 25 mph early in the morning. Chance of precipitation 90 percent.
• Saturday: Widespread rain. Snow level 2,000 feet in the morning. Highs in the lower to mid 40s. Windy. South winds 20 to 30 mph. Gusts up to 50 mph in the late morning and early afternoon. Chance of rain near 100 percent.
• Saturday night: Rain. Lows around 40. Breezy. West winds 15 to 25 mph. Chance of rain near 100 percent.
• Sunday: Rain and snow showers. Snow level 2,000 feet. Highs in the mid 40s. Breezy. Northwest winds 10 to 15 mph increasing to 15 to 25 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation 80 percent.
• Sunday night: Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain showers. Lows in the mid 30s to lower 40s.
• Monday: Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain and snow showers. Highs in the mid 40s to lower 50s.
