Killing Cassanova will join Eliza Jane and the Barnyard Gypsies in concert tonight at 8 at the Pistol River Friendship Hall.

Killing Cassanova has been the resident band at some of the hottest clubs in Los Angeles and is currently hosting “The Back Porch at the UnUrban Café,” considered to be the best of local bluegrass, Americana, folk rock and country music in Los Angeles. Its unique style of folk rock also has been heard in movie soundtracks.

For Eliza Jane and the Barnyard Gypsies, the music is described as a blend of gypsy and bluegrass. The band performs its own tunes, combining socially pertinent foot-stompers and heartfelt love ballads in a “Gypsy Grass” folk fusion style.

Tickets cost $15 and are available at Mory’s and Words and Pictures in Brookings and at Gold Beach Books in Gold Beach. Tickets also may be reserved online at http://www.pistolriver.com or by calling (541) 247-2848.
