Egyptian to light up big screen

The “Odd Couple” (1968), rated PG, will play at 7 tonight at the Egyptian Theatre in downtown Coos Bay. The film stars the late Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau.
Other movies at the Egyptian include:
• “The Milagro Beanfield War” (1988), rated R, at 7 p.m. on Saturday. Directed by Robert Redford, the movie tells the story of a rural New Mexican town and its struggle to survive.
• And, “Gigi” (1958) will show at 3 p.m. on Sunday. “Gigi” is the story friendship and love between a wealthy French playboy and Gigi, a courtesan.
• Feb. 1, “The Boondock Saints,” (1999), rated R.
• “Ghost” (1990), rated PG-13, starring Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore, will play on Feb. 22, as a fundraiser for The Waterfall Clinic.
