I want to know

Question: I want to know what happened to Dubray’s on The Green at Forest Hills Country Club in Reedsport.
A: For health reasons, the former leasees of the Forest Hills Country Club clubhouse restaurant, Wayne and Debbie Chinn, had to opt out of the agreement to run the restaurant formerly called Dubray’s on the Green, said Forest Hills Country Club PGA Golf Professional Kevin Wheeler said.
The Chinns took over the lease on Oct. 1, 2007, and had started updating the facility and painting it.
That means the Forest Hills Country Club Board of Directors is looking for someone to lease and operate the popular clubhouse restaurant.
Proposals are due at the Forest Hills Country Clubhouse at 1 Country Club Drive, Reedsport, OR 97467 by March 3.
For more information about proposal requirements, those interested can go to
http://www.reedsportgolfing.com or call Wheeler at (541) 271-2626.
