A spaghetti-feed fundraiser will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 25, at the cafeteria room at North Bend Middle School for the family of Jordan Waletich, to help with medical bills.

Jordan, a 17-year-old North Bend High School student, was injured in an ATV accident in the Oregon Dunes near Waterplant Hill on Jan. 12. According to a Coos County Sheriff’s Office press release, he had dropped 25 to 30 feet from the top of a dune while operating his ATV and flipped over the handlebars, and the vehicle landed on top of him. Jordan was transported to Bay Area Hospital and then life-flighted to Oregon Health & Science University Hospital in Portland with serious injuries. He has since been discharged.

All proceeds go to Jordan’s family. The cost will be $2.50 per person. For more information, those interested can call Steve Greif at 751-7101.
