South Coast readers often have different preferences in reading material than those in other parts of the state and United States. Here are the top-five sellers this week at Winter River Books in Bandon, according to owner Johnna Hickox:
“Eat, Pray, Love” by Elizabeth Gilbert relates the author’s international quest for emotional stability and peace of mind.
“Water for Elephants” by Sara Gruen is a runaway bestseller and poignant tale of an aging vet’s memories of the early days of his career with the circus.
“The Daring Book for Girls” by Miriam Peskowitz provides fun information on games and activities that will get young females up and away from T.V. and video games.
“The Dangerous Book for Boys” by Conn Iggulden provides similar information for young males.
“How to Find Flower Fairies” by Cicely Barker delights fairy-lovers with information and gorgeous illustrations. |
