A Coos Bay woman was cited Monday afternoon following a traffic accident.

According to a North Bend Police Department press log, at about 2:14 p.m., officers were called to the scene of an accident at the intersection of Broadway Street and Newmark Avenue in North Bend. Officers from the Coquille Tribal Police witnessed the accident, according to the log.

After an investigation, the driver of a 2005 Hyundai, Cheryl Kallman, 62, of Coos Bay, was issued a citation for careless driving by Tribal Police, the log said.
