Saturday, January 12, 2008 8:12 AM PST
Actor Kurt Sutton portrays one of the nation’s most beloved authors and storytellers in “An Evening with Mark Twain.”
The show will be performed at 8 tonight at Little Theatre on the Bay in North Bend.
Stepping into character, Sutton will capture the wit, wisdom and humor of Twain. He’ll also introduce the audience to Twain the musician. The author played piano, guitar and banjo and routinely entertained friends and guests in sing-along performances in his home. Sutton tries to capture Twain’s looks and gestures and excels at making the audience feel right at home in that Hannibal, Mo., parlor.
A 20-year veteran of performing as Mark Twain, Sutton also plays harmonica, guitar, autoharp, dulcimer and banjo and has appeared in two movies.
Seating is reserved, and tickets cost $20. Tickets are available at the LTOB Box Office, 2100 Sherman Ave.
