The following are meetings and gatherings scheduled in Coos County.
The Coquille Valley Art Center is a offering stained glass class in a seven-week program. It will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Fridays, starting Jan. 11, at the center, 10144 state Highway 42. A free “Beginning Computer Mouse” class for novice computer users will begin at 9:30 a.m. and go through to 11 a.m. at the Coos Bay Public Library's Internet computers. Pre-registration is required. The sign-up sheet and registration forms are available at the Reference Desk in the library, 525 W. Anderson Ave. For more information, those interested can call 269-1101.
Stable and Free Eternally meetings will be held from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at the North Bend Church of God, 1067 Newmark St. Meetings are open to those who are experiencing any type of addictive behavior. For more information, those interested can call 756-6289 or 888-0401.
North Bend Gold Prospectors will meet at 7 p.m. at the North Bend Senior Center, 1470 Airport Lane. Raffles for gold and prizes are held. For more information, those interested can call Bob at 269-7370.
The Egyptian Theatre in downtown Coos Bay will show “The Addams Family” (1991) at 7 p.m. General movie admission costs $4, $3.50 for seniors and those 12 and under, and $3 for members.
