Reedsport chamber to honor people of the year

The Reedsport/Winchester Bay Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual dinner on from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., on Saturday, Jan. 19, at the Reedsport Community Building, 451 Winchester Ave. in Reedsport.
There will be a no-host bar, and hors d’oevres will be served. The cost is $20.
The chamber also is seeking nominations of individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the community through time, effort and energy.
Letters of recommendation for Business Person of the Year and Oscar Anderson Volunteer of the Year awards can be sent to: Robin Dollar, Chamber Manager, Reedsport/Winchester Bay Chamber of Commerce, P.O. Box 11, Reedsport, OR 97467; or sent via e-mail to

Letters of recommendation must be received by Jan. 17. Winners will be announced at the annual dinner.
