Saturday, January 5, 2008 9:04 AM PST

Overeaters Anonymous offers meetings locally through a program of recovery from compulsive overeating, using the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions based on those from Alcoholics Anonymous.

There are no fees or weigh-ins. The only requirement is that members wish to stop eating compulisively, a press release said. Overeaters Anonymous is self-supporting and not affiliated with any religious organization.

For more information including times and locations of meetings, those interested can call Delores at 269-0433 or visit http://www.oa.org.
