Weeks named a director of Star of Hope

Star of Hope announces the recent appointment of Jamella Weeks as its new director of vocational services.
Weeks has worked with Star of Hope for the past seven years serving in various capacities. She started as a residential support associate, taking care of the residents in the organization’s group homes.
She was promoted to assistant manager of Monroe Street Group Home. She then became the vocational program manager, and her most recent position was contract specialist.
Weeks assumed her new duties on Dec. 4, with her office located in the headquarters for Star of Hope at 657 Newmark Ave. in Coos Bay.
